EXPEDITION VESSELS over 50m
Integration between design and engineering is in fact playing an increasingly important role, and this is a field in which Hydro Tec is unrivalled.
A step forward in the EVOLUTION of the concept of YACHT.
The Vanguard, this sea fortress, is also a floating spa. The pool area can be closed off thanks to the sliding doors: this provides the opportunity to use the pool in cold as well as warm weather.
The tender area, located on the main deck, is another space adaptable to different life situations; once the tenders have been launched, in fact, can be turned into a covered terrace, just like the heli-deck.
The wide spaces of this area allows also to embark many tenders and toys, a fundamental feature for an explorer yacht, born with the idea to cruise for long periods without touching land and in areas of the world poorly equipped for traditional yachts.
EXPLORING NEW FRONTIERS of DESIGN
M/Y Bowsprit is an Explorer yacht just over 50 metres long and with a gross tonnage at the limit of 500 GT. Designed for long voyages and for charter, this explorer yacht is characterised, first and foremost, by the bow dolphin that inspires the name of the project.
With strong and masculine lines, it offers an original distribution of open spaces that can be easily converted according to the owner’s needs. In particular, the external area aft of the deck saloon can easily extend the saloon itself. The large swimming pool located at the extreme stern, on the other hand, is the centrepiece of the beach club area, while a second swimming pool, located on the highest deck, is offered as entertainment for long voyages.
A large “crow’s nest” is located above the hard top allowing a 360-degree view. The layout is spread over 5 or 6 cabins, offering ample space to the crew area which accommodates 8 members plus the master.
The tender is housed in a garage below deck with side door for launching; this solution allows even more effective insulation for the guest cabins than for the engine room.
